Good nursing admissions essay

We are a private, non-profit, & single focus institution – dedicated to preparing our students for health-care careers in nursing and allied health sciences. We have 400 students, and we like our size because it provides the flexibility to personalize each student’s education. The Applicants with the top Rubric Scores will be required to take the TEAS Entrance Examination (Test of Essential Academic Skills - multiple-choice assessment of basic academic knowledge in reading, mathematics, science {A/P I, A/P II, Microbiology, Chemistry}, and English). Applicants will be notified of their status (through the email account provided on the program application) approximately one month after the application close date. Applicants will be responsible for the test fee which is approximately $71. Specific TEAS Entrance Examination dates and scheduling will be announced to applicants after the application period has closed. The results of the TEAS Entrance Examination will be combined with the PN Rubric score for ranking applicants and the top applicants will be accepted for the program for which an application was submitted. Only TEAS exam results of or higher will be acceptable for program eligibility.
